Christ's College provides its students with the opportunity to express themselves in many different sports. The school competes in local Canterbury events and competitions; interschool fixtures and interhouse competitions.
Sport is compulsory at all year levels. Students are encouraged to represent the school in team sports where possible. Participation and the pursuit of excellence are the dual keys to the College sporting programme.
The College aims to provide the best possible coaching and equipment. In return, the students are expected to show commitment and effort. Historically, the College has achieved and maintained considerable success in many of the sports it offers.
