Victoria University - Admission from 2011
Victoria University, along with all other universities, has to look at ways of managing enrolments due to policies to cap the number of funded places for domestic students. For students applying with NCEA the rank score will be based on the 80 best credits at Level 3 or higher over a maximum of five subjects, with a maximum of 24 credits in each subject. Excellence = 4, Merit = 3, Achieved = 2. They will establish a ‘Guaranteed Entry Score’ which means that every student who has applied by the due date, and achieves that score, will automatically be confirmed into their programme when their results are released from NZQA in mid-January.
